Opportunity Overview

A fully funded scholarship from the University of Cambridge and the Mastercard Foundation for a one-year full-time master's, for outstanding African students including Sudanese nationals; refugees and internally displaced people are exempt from the residence rule. Eligibility & Acceptance Criteria

5 Criteria
Citizen of an African country and normally resident in Africa (Sudanese eligible); temporary stays abroad for study or work are allowed, and refugees and internally displaced people are exempt from the residence rule.
Hold a bachelor's degree and meet the entry requirements of the chosen course (upper second or first class equivalent, depending on the course).
Apply for a full-time master's course; MBA, Master of Accountancy, Master of Corporate Law and Master of Finance are excluded.
Show commitment to giving back to your community, country or Africa, with a focus on sustainability and climate resilience.
Submit the complete application, including both references, by your course's funding deadline: Tuesday 8 December 2026 or Wednesday 6 January 2027 at 23:59 GMT (check the course page). Request the application fee waiver by 18 November 2026 if it is not applied automatically.
