Opportunity Overview
INSEAD offers more than 170 need-based and merit MBA scholarship funds, with an average award of about €24,000. The INSEAD MBA is an intensive ten-month programme taught on the Fontainebleau campus near Paris and the Singapore campus, with tuition of €109,860. Awards come in three kinds: need-based scholarships for candidates who demonstrate financial need in their application, merit-based scholarships that take into account country of origin, professional background and leadership potential, and spot scholarships awarded directly to candidates with outstanding admission profiles without a separate application. Each fund sets its own criteria, and some target particular regions or groups, such as the AMPA Endowed Scholarship for Africa, worth at least €30,000, for Sub-Saharan African candidates in financial need, alongside other geography-based awards. Candidates may apply for up to four scholarships. Deadlines for the August 2027 intake follow the admission rounds: Round 1 on 22 October 2026, Round 2 on 7 December 2026, Round 3 on 24 February 2027 and Round 4 on 12 April 2027, at 23:59 CET; applying early is advised because funds are limited. Important: these awards are tuition reductions or partial scholarships, not full funding; the average award covers only about a fifth of tuition, and the programme targets experienced professionals, with students averaging about five to six years of work experience.

ChinaChinese Government Scholarship (CSC) 2027–2028
A fully funded scholarship from the Chinese government, administered by the China Scholarship Council (CSC), for bachelor's, master's and PhD study at Chinese universities. It covers tuition, campus accommodation, a monthly stipend and comprehensive medical insurance. There are two routes: the bilateral route (Type A) through the Chinese embassy or the designated agency in your country (often the Ministry of Higher Education), or directly through designated Chinese universities (Type B). Bachelor's applicants now need a CSCA test score. The portal usually opens in November–December 2026; deadlines are set by each embassy or university and typically fall between late November 2026 and April 2027 (bilateral or embassy routes are often earliest). Bachelor's applicants must sit the CSCA test (December or January sessions) before applying. International airfare is not covered.
