Opportunity Overview

Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowships in Europe: 12 to 24 months of funding for any nationality, with the 2027 call expected to open in spring and close in September. The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) under Horizon Europe fund researchers with at most eight years of experience since their PhD to carry out a research project with a host organisation. European Fellowships let researchers of any nationality work for 12 to 24 months in an EU member state or associated country; Global Fellowships let nationals or long-term residents of those countries work in a third country and then return to Europe for 12 months, with an optional six-month non-academic placement. Fellows receive living, mobility and family allowances, and the host receives a contribution to research and training costs. The 2026 call ran from 9 April to 9 September 2026 and is closed; the 2027 dates have not been published but are expected to follow the same pattern.
