Opportunity Overview
Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges are short EU-funded programmes for young people aged 13 to 30, open to young people from the Southern Mediterranean through sending organisations. Each exchange brings together 16 to 60 young people from different countries for 5 to 21 days of non-formal activities on shared themes, in national groups of at least four with an adult leader. The grant covers travel, accommodation and activity costs, so participants pay nothing out of pocket. Young people from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia (Region 3) can take part, provided at least one organisation comes from the EU or an associated country. Individuals cannot apply directly but join through a sending organisation or youth group; organisations apply for grants on 12 February and 1 October each year.
