Opportunity Overview
A 30% discount on first-year tuition at the University of Eastern Finland for the 2027 intake, plus a 30% waiver in later years for good study progress; apply by 21 January 2027. UEF charges €10,000–12,000 a year for English-taught bachelor's and master's programmes to citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland. Every admitted fee-paying student gets a 30% early-bird discount (€3,000 or €3,600) by accepting the place and paying the fee, or its first instalment, within 21 days of the admission results. In the second year of a master's (second and third years of a bachelor's), a 30% waiver is granted to students who complete at least 55 ECTS credits in the first year, and Finnish Proficiency waivers (€2,500 or €1,500 from 2027–2028) reward Finnish-language study. There are no 100% waivers and no living-cost grants. Most master's programmes take applications in the joint application from 7 to 21 January 2027 on Studyinfo.fi; Economics and Business Administration programmes applied from 1 to 15 October 2026, and Erasmus Mundus programmes have their own fees and scholarships.
