Opportunity Overview

A full two-year master's tuition waiver (about €30,000) at the Technical University of Denmark (QS 107); apply by 15 January 2027 with a separate personal statement. Each year DTU awards a limited number of merit-based waivers to new MSc students from outside the EU/EEA; DTU tuition is €7,500 per semester. You must apply for your MSc by 15 January 2027 even if a later deadline otherwise applies to you, and upload a separate personal statement clearly stating that you are applying for the waiver; it should focus on your academic achievements at bachelor's level, not on your motivation for the programme, and applications without it are not considered. Your application is first assessed for admission, then the statement is assessed for the waiver on: GPA, the ranking of the university that awarded your bachelor's, research experience or publications, relevant work and teaching experience, and awards from academic competitions. Waivers are announced in April and formally granted once you accept your offer. They are offered for the autumn (September) intake only and do not cover living costs. The portal opens on 1 December 2026 and the application fee is €100.
