Opportunity Overview
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) brings together 191 National Societies and millions of volunteers. The IFRC secretariat does not recruit volunteers directly: people volunteer through the Red Cross or Red Crescent Society of their own country, in activities such as first aid, disaster response, health awareness, blood donation and support for refugees and local communities. Volunteering is local and unpaid. Registration is open all year, and each National Society sets its own conditions (age, training). To start, contact the National Society in your country through the directory on the IFRC website.
