Opportunity Overview

A fully funded government scholarship from the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) for master's or PhD study at Turkish universities in all fields. It includes university placement, tuition, a monthly stipend, accommodation, health insurance, a flight ticket and a one-year Turkish language course. Applications open every year on the TBBS portal from 10 January to 20 February, with interviews in April–June and results in August.

Eligibility & Acceptance Criteria

4 Criteria
Age: under 30 for master's and under 35 for PhD applicants.
Minimum academic achievement of 75% in the previous degree (90% for health sciences programmes).
Not a current or former Turkish citizen and not already enrolled at the same level in a Turkish university.
Selection by document review and interview; awardees without C1 Turkish take a one-year Turkish course, even for English-taught programmes.
