Opportunity Overview
A joint TÜBİTAK–TWAS programme for doctoral students and postdocs from developing countries to carry out a research visit at a Turkish university or TÜBİTAK centre: 6–12 months for PhD students and 6–36 months for postdocs, in science, engineering, medicine, agriculture and computing. TÜBİTAK pays a monthly stipend (32,500 TL for PhD and 43,500 TL for postdocs in the 2024 call) and TWAS covers the round-trip ticket and visa costs. The last published call ran from 1 October to 16 December 2024; the next call has not been announced.
