Opportunity Overview
Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships are fully funded New Zealand government scholarships for postgraduate study (postgraduate diploma, master's and PhD) at New Zealand universities and institutes of technology. They cover full tuition, a weekly living allowance, an establishment allowance, medical and travel insurance and return airfares. Only citizens of eligible Pacific and South/Southeast Asian countries can apply (for example Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Viet Nam, Nepal, Cambodia, Laos, Timor-Leste, Fiji, Samoa and Tonga); no Arab or African country is currently eligible. Applicants need work experience and must return home for two years after study. The last window (1 March–10 April 2026) was for 2027 study; the next window has not been officially announced.
