Opportunity Overview

The University of Siena awards International Excellence Scholarships to non-Italian students with a foreign entry qualification who enrol in one of its master's programmes taught entirely in English. Each scholarship is worth €6,000 gross per year (€12,000 over two years). Five awards were offered in 2026/27, spread across economics and law, political and social sciences, biomedical sciences, and mathematics and experimental sciences. Second-year renewal requires 39 ECTS by 30 September.

The University of Newcastle (Australia) awards the International Excellence Scholarship automatically to international full-fee-paying students admitted to an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programme in 2027. It covers 20% of tuition fees each year for the whole programme, and about 500 scholarships are offered.
