Opportunity Overview
University College Dublin's Global Excellence Scholarships cover 100% or 50% of tuition fees for outstanding incoming students with non-EU fee status who hold an offer or conditional offer for an eligible undergraduate or graduate taught programme. A limited number of awards are made each year and a separate application is required. For 2026/27 the deadlines were 1 February (North American undergraduates), 28 February (Middle East, Africa and Pakistan, and South Asian graduate applicants) and 31 March 2026 for everyone else. Applications for 2027/28 open in November 2026, with dates to be confirmed.

The University of Newcastle (Australia) awards the International Excellence Scholarship automatically to international full-fee-paying students admitted to an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programme in 2027. It covers 20% of tuition fees each year for the whole programme, and about 500 scholarships are offered. Applicants must meet the published entry requirements and study on campus in Australia (standalone graduate certificates/diplomas, research degrees, online or offshore study and quota-limited programmes are excluded). The amount is stated in the offer letter; no separate application is needed.
