The British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM offer fully funded one-year master's degrees at UK partner universities to women from a list of eligible countries each year. They cover tuition, a living stipend, travel, visa and health surcharge costs and English support. In 2026/27 Egypt was the only eligible Arab country (with places at Imperial College London and London South Bank University). Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree, show financial need, be active in STEM and commit to inspiring women and girls in STEM and returning home for two years. Applications are made to the host universities; the 2027/28 round has not been announced.

AustraliaUniversity of Newcastle International Excellence Scholarship 2027
The University of Newcastle (Australia) awards the International Excellence Scholarship automatically to international full-fee-paying students admitted to an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programme in 2027. It covers 20% of tuition fees each year for the whole programme, and about 500 scholarships are offered. Applicants must meet the published entry requirements and study on campus in Australia (standalone graduate certificates/diplomas, research degrees, online or offshore study and quota-limited programmes are excluded). The amount is stated in the offer letter; no separate application is needed.
