Opportunity Overview
Each year the Rotary Foundation fully funds peace fellowships for professionals working in peace and development, including a master’s degree at a Rotary Peace Center partner university (for example the University of Queensland’s Master of Peace and Conflict Studies). The fellowship covers tuition and fees, a monthly stipend for housing and living costs, round-trip travel, conference and research funding, and summer fieldwork or internships. Applicants need at least three years of full-time relevant work experience, at least three years since their last degree, and English at IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. Applications for 2027–28 closed on 15 May 2026; the 2028–29 dates have not been announced yet.

It covers 20% of tuition fees each year for the whole programme, and about 500 scholarships are offered. Applicants must meet the published entry requirements and study on campus in Australia (standalone graduate certificates/diplomas, research degrees, online or offshore study and quota-limited programmes are excluded).
