Opportunity Overview
The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship is a nine-month, non-degree programme of the U.S. Government (Fulbright) for experienced mid-career professionals, hosted at a U.S. university. It covers tuition, pre-academic English training if needed, a monthly living stipend and settling-in allowance, accident and sickness coverage, book and computer allowances, round-trip airfare and a professional development allowance. Applicants need at least five years of full-time professional experience after their degree. Applications go through the U.S. Embassy or Fulbright Commission in each country, and deadlines differ by country (for 2027–28, Bangladesh closed on 13 August 2026).
