Opportunity Overview

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia’s Zamalah Research Scheme helps full-time research PhD students with admission and tuition fees for semesters 1–3, extendable based on performance and funding. The scheme pays at the Malaysian citizen fee rate, so international students pay the difference to UKM. PhD applicants of any nationality need a master’s CGPA of at least 3.50 and at least one paper in a WoS, Scopus or ERA-indexed journal in the past five years, plus a supervisor with an active research grant.
