Opportunity Overview
Panthéon-Sorbonne University (Paris 1) in Paris, France applies a partial exemption from the differentiated tuition fees charged to non-EU students. It is for non-EU nationals of the countries on the UN list of least developed countries (44 countries, including Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, Djibouti, Comoros, Mauritania and most of sub-Saharan Africa) who enrol in a national Licence or Master diploma. Eligible students pay the national rate instead of the differentiated rate. For 2026-27 this meant EUR 178 instead of EUR 2,902 per year for a Licence and EUR 255 instead of EUR 3,950 for a Master. The reduction is automatic at registration, based on nationality, with no separate application or deadline. The 2027/28 rates have not been announced yet. This is a fee reduction, not a cash scholarship, and doctoral students already pay the national rate.
