Opportunity Overview
Cambridge Trust postgraduate scholarships: full PhD funding for international students through the admission application itself, with deadlines by course between December and January. The Cambridge Trust awards scholarships to international students admitted to research master's degrees (MPhil, MRes, MAst), the LLM and PhD study at the University of Cambridge, excluding the MBA, MFin and MEd. Its flagship is the Cambridge International Scholarship for PhD students (around 63 awards a year for overseas fee-status applicants), which covers full tuition, a maintenance allowance and the immigration health surcharge. There is no separate form: applicants complete the funding section of the university application before their course's funding deadline, usually in early December or early January. Awards are made on academic merit, some also consider financial need, and partner awards are reserved for particular nationalities.
