Opportunity Overview
Automatic scholarships, with no separate application, for new international students at Victoria University of Wellington: NZ$15,000 off first-year bachelor's fees and NZ$10,000 for a master's or postgraduate diploma. In August 2025 Victoria University of Wellington (Te Herenga Waka) launched two awards that replace the Tongarewa Scholarship and others: the VUW Undergraduate International Scholarship (NZ$15,000) for first-year bachelor's students, and the VUW Postgraduate International Scholarship (NZ$10,000) for 120-, 180- or 240-point master's degrees or a 120-point postgraduate diploma. The value is a fee credit for one year. You must be a new international student paying full international fees and studying full-time on campus.
