About the program
A German government programme run by the Federal Employment Agency with GIZ that places Tunisian nurses in German hospitals and care homes on German employment contracts with the same conditions as German staff. GIZ provides German courses up to advanced level and nursing preparation, and supports recognition and the first year in Germany; candidates pay no fees. After recognition, public-sector pay starts at €3,510 gross a month (TVöD-P P7 since May 2026); pay is lower during the recognition phase and may differ with private employers. Apply through ANETI in Tunisia; there are three selection rounds a year. Only for Tunisian nationals living in Tunisia.
