DSU Toscana, the regional right-to-study agency of Tuscany, awards need-based scholarships to students of any nationality enrolled at the University of Florence. Winners receive an annual cash grant (2026/27 national minimum: €7,171 for off-site students), free university housing for off-site students subject to availability, free canteen meals and exemption from tuition and the regional tax. International students prove their family income with documents from their home country, translated and legalised by the Italian embassy.
