Under the Omani Programme for Cultural and Scientific Cooperation, the Sultanate of Oman offers fully funded bachelor’s scholarships each year to students from friendly and brotherly countries, mainly at private (non-government) higher education institutions in Oman. The award covers full tuition, a monthly allowance of OMR 200 (OMR 140 when the institution provides housing) and one round-trip ticket per academic year. Medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, medical laboratory sciences and education are excluded. Applicants are nominated through their country’s embassy or ministry, which receives the registration access from Oman; for 2026/27 registration ran from 15 July to 15 August 2026 and studies must start in that year. The 2027/28 call has not been announced yet.
