Opportunity Overview

ENS de Lyon awards the Ampère Excellence Scholarship to outstanding international students admitted to its master's programmes in exact sciences, arts, humanities and social sciences. It pays €1,000 a month for 12 months and can be renewed under conditions. The 2026–2027 campaign ran from 14 November 2025 to 23 January 2026; the 2027–2028 campaign is expected to follow the same timeline.

Eligibility & Acceptance Criteria

3 Criteria
International students (non-EU or EU/EEA) admitted to an eligible ENS de Lyon master's in exact sciences, arts, humanities or social sciences.
M1 entry: a bachelor's (L3, 180 ECTS) or equivalent; M2 entry: an M1 (240 ECTS) or equivalent.
Apply online in the master's and scholarship campaign (2026 campaign: 14 Nov 2025 – 23 Jan 2026); email applications are not accepted.
