About the scholarship program
The Czech Ministry of Education offers government scholarships to students from selected developing countries to study at Czech public universities, in Czech-taught programs (with a preparatory language year) or, in some cases, English-taught programs. The scholarship usually includes a tuition waiver and a monthly stipend. Applications are submitted through the Czech embassy in the applicant's country, and the list of eligible countries and programs is published annually.
