Opportunity Overview
Funded by Belgian development cooperation, the Academy of Research and Higher Education (ARES) awards about 100 fully funded scholarships a year to professionals from 32 partner countries (including Morocco, Tunisia and Palestine) for a one-year specialised master's or bachelor's, or a six-month continuing-education course, on development topics at French-speaking Belgian institutions. It covers international travel, a living allowance, insurance and tuition. The 2027–2028 call closed on 18 September 2026; the next call is expected to open in August 2027.
